I had such a good day today!  I didn't get too many pictures but I went to JP music fest and made some new friends.  I behaved so well I shocked auntie Julie.  I even made new people friends in line for the bathroom!!  It was a beautiful day where I really enjoyed being outside:). My cousin came too but had to wear his special leash since he kept barking at other dogs.

Today, my cousin and I helped Grandma paint the porch floor!  We are so helpful, no wonder we get to live there for free!

Also, you can see the little corner Grandma made for me so I'd have my private space.  She is so thoughtful!

Today was very hot.  I spent some time on the mudroom floor, which felt cooler.  I think maybe I was mad at Grandma though because I kept doing this when she came looking for me.  I wouldn't make any eye contact with her but now I seem OK.  I've been asking where my mum is for the past few days but I still haven't found her.  Does anyone know?

This morning I was so excited because Auntie Julie told us we had a new friend!  I wanted to go meet him/her but Auntie Julie said she didn't think this was the kind of friend we should hang out with so she went out without us!  What a let down.  Grandma explained that this kind of friend is too "fresh" to hang out with.  Here's his picture.  Auntie Julie was nice/brave enough to go and release him from the trap:

Later, I was hanging out in the mudroom because the painters are on the porch and my cousin came to keep me company!  I'm not sure his motives were pure though, because he definitely ate some of my food.  Later, he had to be stuck in the kitchen because he kept licking one of the painters!  So embarrassing.

Today I got to see my friend Mauricio!  He came to surprise my auntie for their anniversary and I got to play with them!  It was the perfect ending to a good day!

Today was OK.  I had to be leashed for a while because the painters were here and I kept barking.  But we went on a nice walk and I'm enjoying my dinner as I write this.  I was even well behaved and didn't beg at the dinner table.  I stayed right on the edge of the porch:)

Today Grandma took care of us because auntie Julie is working all day.  We had a lovely walk and got to roll around in the grass.  Here we are enjoying the sunshine!  Hope you all are having a wonderful day as well!

I am a little upset.  Today was a nice day and then Auntie Julie had to go and ruin it by brushing my teeth!  I thought that while my Mum was gone and I was in mourning, I'd have a little break from the torture but no.  And to make matters worse, Grandma took pictures while Auntie Julie was torturing me!  Just terrible.  I hope you all had a better ending to your Sunday than I did.

I didn't get to post yesterday so today will be from yesterday, and I will try and do one later today too!  I got to play with Auntie Julie because my cousin was being lazy and lounging.  Here I am with my alligator toy.

Also, Auntie Julie was in Boston yesterday and found this awesome shirt that I think my Mum should get.  What do you think Mum?

Today wasn't very exciting.  Auntie Julie had to work all day so we did our usual morning and afternoon walks, then have just been hanging out.  I behaved well though with the painters, which is a plus!  Last night, when Grandma went to find me, she couldn't at first but then found me hanging out in the mudroom.  I felt like being all snuggled.

Tomorrow, my cousin and me have a date with our Grandma since Auntie Julie is going to be gone all day.  Hopefully we do something fun, like play rummy or something else that Grandma's do.

Last night, I was very sad because when I went to wait at the backdoor around 10:15, my mom didn't come like she usually does.  I waited for 5 minutes and nothing so today I decided to go for a nice walk and do some gardening to help my mood.  Here are some tomatoes I picked!  I think the cayenne pepper water is really helping to keep the squirrels and chipmunks away.

Then I went through some of the stuff Auntie Julie brought down from the attic.  Here's one that I find completely terrifying.  Mum, do you want to keep these dolls still?

Hi.  My name's Cooper.  I've decided to start a blog about all the adventures I have on my "staycation" while my mom enjoys her vacation.  I don't want her to miss me too much so I'll update her on everything I'm doing with my Auntie, who takes such good care of me.  Today, I worked on the Sudoku.  My mom usually does it but since she's away, I took over.

I also went kayaking today.  It was a the perfect day for it and we had a lovely time.

The rest of the day I plan to spend relaxing with my cousin (he came kayaking too and I thought I took his picture but I guess not:()  Happy National Dog Day!
